| The Toe
River Arts Council Studio
Tour will be held June 11th
and 12th and the Winter Tour is December 3 & 4, 2005. The
artisans studios will be open to welcome old
friends and new comers to the tour. You can get a map and
directions at any of the studios or at the TRAC office in Burnsville,
or at the TRAC Gallery in
Spruce Pine. |
 I ENJOY USING THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTION AND SEEING THE IDENTITY OF THE CLAY SO PRONOUNCED BY THE FLAMES OF THE KILN. |

 THE FORMS ARE HANDBUILT USING LARGE COILS OR SLABS OF CLAY THAT ARE FLATTENED AND STACKED ON EACH OTHER TO FORM AN IMAGE. |

| Our Gallery
is just north, 2 miles, of
Bakersville, NC, at the Cub Creek Rd. turnoff.
Just south of Toecane, Loafers Glory, and Red Hill somewhat as
the crow flies. You will note the chickens in the yard when you
